EV plug-in hybrid,The battery power will move the car for about 60 kilometres (or so) before it runs out at which point the 1.5 ltr Atkinson gasoline engine begins running an electric generator. It's the generator that moves the car at this point. This gives the car an effective range of about 700 kilometres. Very similar technology to the Chevy Volt.This is a very comfortable , quiet car to drive.
