Neue umweltfreundliche Kunststofflackiererei in Wolfsburg eingeweiht

Die neue Kunststoffteile-Lackiererei im Volkswagen Werk Wolfsburg ist jetzt offiziell eröffnet worden. Ein Vierteljahr nach Aufnahme des Betriebs hat sie alle Erwartungen erfüllt und gilt als modernste Anlage der Autobranche. „Mit der neuen Lackiererei zeigt der Geschäftsbereich Komponente seine Orientierung auf Leistungsfähigkeit, Kostenbewusstsein und umweltfreundliche Produktion im Zuge des ‚Think Blue-Factory‘-Programms der Marke Volkswagen", erklärte Prof. Dr. Werner Neubauer, Mitglied des Markenvorstands Volkswagen, zur offiziellen Einweihung. Die bereits im August angefahrene Anlage senkt den Energieverbrauch um bis zu 50 Prozent, die Emissionen beim Lackierprozess fallen sogar um 90 Prozent. Damit leistet die neue Technik einen wichtigen Beitrag, um die Produktion in Wolfsburg umweltfreundlicher zu gestalten. In der Anlage lackieren 120 Mitarbeiter bis zu 4.000 Stoßfänger sowie weitere Kunststoffteile täglich.
