It’s understandable when you’re driving around, and you spot gorgeous cars that you wish you could have; the same could be said when you’re just browsing around online. There are more than enough lovely cars out there that can make someone green with envy. But with that said, you don’t always need to go car shopping to get yourself what you want.

Sometimes, the best option is to work with what you already have. Working with that you have is an eco-luxury if you think about it. Working with what you already have is instantly less stressful, and it’s going to be a lot cheaper too. Why not turn your current car into the luxury car that you’re after? Here are some of the best methods for making your car feel luxurious, even if you don’t own a luxury car!

1. Clean your car regularly
One of the best things about getting a new car would be the fact that it’s squeaky clean. But of course, that new car smell really helps. So, the first step to creating a luxury experience in your car would be as simple as just cleaning it. You’re going to want to make it squeaky clean both inside and out. This is seriously going to just instantly elevate the experience. You’re going to want to make sure that all the nooks and crannies are cleaned up, this is the best way to make it already feel like a new luxury car. Whether you clean the car yourself or hire someone is going to be completely up to you.

2. Give your car some updates
This can include the hilux dash mat, new car seats, new mirrors, or basically anything to your liking. You can even go as far as updating your car with a paint job if you want to. The choice is really up to you. Just make sure you incorporate some of the more luxurious elements that a high-end car offers, such as a GPS system, good lighting, and softness inside the vehicle.

3. Detail your car with wax or a protective sealant
A good waxing is going to certainly take the cake! This can be a marvelous way to just instantly make your car feel brand-spanking-new! Plush, it’s going to look so good and clean that it’s bound to turn some heads. Getting a car waxed doesn’t need to be expensive either, fortunately.

4. Keep up with oil changes and tyre rotations to improve the lifespan of your vehicle
Luxury cars work; they don’t break down. So, this is something you’re going to want to incorporate for your vehicle too. You’re not going to want it to break down. You can extend its life of it just by simply getting it checked up. This includes checking your tyres and even going as far as getting some new tires. Plus, this is going to include oil changes as well. Make sure you don’t skip out on these things.

5. Get a new air freshener
While you can’t necessarily get that new car smell back in your car, you can, however make it smell nice. Why go for that old fashion pine smell when you can get an air freshener that smells like lavender, vanilla, or even a masculine musk smell like leather.
